Eco Congregation

 

Ness Bank was the 108th congregation to receive an Eco Award from Eco Congregation Scotland.

We gained our second award in April 2017 when the assessors commended the "infectious enthusiasm of what is clearly a vibrant, and somewhat unique, community orientated congregation."

Eco Congregation Scotland is a Christian environmental organisation addressing climate change, conservation and related issues. Ness Bank continues to promote environmental and conservation issues in all parts of the church family and in the future we will look to applying for an award under Eco Congregation’s new award scheme. We are also involved in Eco Congregation’s Highland network and have hosted and promoted various workshops, including reducing food and clothing waste.
