Girls' Brigade

Ness Bank Church has two Girls’ Brigade Companies:

4A Inverness has joined with 3rd Inverness and currently meets at Trinity Church, Huntly Place on Mondays. The merged company is called Riverside Girls’ Brigade. 4B Inverness meets on Tuesdays at Hilton Primary School (please see below for meeting times).

Our GB motto is Seek, Serve and Follow Christ

Our programme looks at four different sections; Spiritual, Physical, Educational and Service.

Some of the topics being covered this year are countries, the story of Noah, prayer, exercise stations, team games, Emergency Services, learning about bees, crafts and planning an event.

Riverside GB has taken part in the Blythswood Shoe Box Appeal, manned a water station for the Baxters Half Marathon and 10K and held a Christmas Singalong. Both companies held a coffee evening in Ness Bank Church hall in March and raised the amazing sum of £750 for Mikeysline.

The Brigaders and leaders participated in the Remembrance Parade in November. The Riverside Brigaders took part in a national Christmas cake decorating competition and one of their entries was awarded 3rd place.

The Explorers and Juniors joined with girls from other local companies for a Challenge Event held in Trinity Church hall in March and had lots of fun.

If you are interested in joining, helping or would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact either of the companies using the email addresses shown below.
