HIGHLAND FOODBANK

The Community and Outreach Team have been involved in keeping the congregation informed about the work of the local Foodbank. The Harvest Thanksgiving appeal in 2016 totalled 365kgs of food. The needs of the Foodbank continues throughout the year and we maintain regular contact with Lorna Dempster, the Project Co-ordinator, and obtain specific advice as to their needs. This information is included in the weekly Order of Service and a box for donations is located in the front vestibule. Virtually every week two pallets are delivered to the Blythswood store in the Longman Industrial Estate.
