HIGHLAND FOODBANK

Highland Foodbank provides emergency food and support to people experiencing hardship across the Highlands. Operated by New Start Highland and part of the Trussell community of foodbanks, Highland Foodbank works with a network of referral agencies to ensure people receive practical support and are connected with wider services that can help address the underlying causes of poverty.

The church has long supported the work of Highland Foodbank through donations and appeals, and we continue to encourage members of the congregation to contribute essential food and household items. Donations can be placed in the collection box located in the front vestibule and are delivered regularly to Highland Foodbank.

Foodbank needs change throughout the year, so we encourage donations of the items currently most needed. Updates are included in the weekly Order of Service and church notices.

Highland Foodbank operates centres in Inverness, Nairn, Dingwall, Alness & Invergordon, and Tain, supporting thousands of people across the region each year.
